About Ava Sangster
Background
Ava is a London singer and started as a backing vocalist at 18, in her mother's group named Winnet. With her mum on vocals, her dad on drums and brother on bass guitar, it was the perfect platform for her to explore singing and performing and to build confidence before starting her solo career.
Her love for singing and writing has been heavily influenced by female singers, such as Ella Fitzgerald, Marilyn Monroe, Billie Holiday, Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline,
Billie Eilish & Melody Gardot, to name a few.
Current projects
- She continues to write her own music with her guitar, with a sound leaning towards folk and country and plans to bring her work to life on stage with her newly formed band. (Influences: Noah Cyrus, Dolly Parton, Ocie Elliot)
- Ava is also planning to release some singles this year to introduce her new, authentic sound.
Produced by BROWN
A successful collaboration between Ava and Belgian producer Nino BROWN; together they produced 6 songs, three of which are available on all streaming platforms and three are scheduled for release this year.
Ava went on to style and create her first music video for 'I don't have to', filmed and edited by Alejandro Sesma.
